Way to go, Mavericks!
Our Fall Fundraiser was a huge success thanks to all of you! You sold more than $16,000 in wrapping paper, snacks, holiday gifts and more. That’s well beyond our $10,000 goal!
The PTO will get approximately 50% of those sales and fund more field trips, more teacher requests and more exciting events for our school. Nine of our classrooms had more than 50% participation, so those teachers earned a $50 fundraiser shopping spree. And over 40% of the entire student body sold at least one item or contributed to our Horseshoe Honorarium. That’s more than 200 students involved! We can’t thank you enough!
Items shipped to the school should be arriving before the end of November. We’ll let you know about pick up and/or distribution plans soon. And our fearless principal will be fulfilling all of his promises to the students!
On Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:45 p.m., visit the Madison Place PTO Facebook page for our live stream of Dr. Stevenson reading bedtime stories. Plus, we’ll have a special reveal of his new hairstyle – complete with lightning bolts and a Maverick logo!
On Wednesday, Oct. 31, Dr. Stevenson will wear his inflatable pumpkin costume during lunch. Then we’ll gather in the gym before the costume parade to duct tape him to a wall! Our top fundraisers and classes will get a chance to add a piece until he’s totally stuck. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for a good look at all of the fun!
Thank you again for your awesome support!
